Mathieu Fortier, Founder, President & CEO

Mathieu leads the development and the implementation of Élite Canada’s strategic plan. He oversees the operations of the company and the delivery of quality customer service. As a former infantry soldier with the Canadian Armed Forces and member of a law enforcement specialized unit, he has gained 23 years of experience on the ground.

Nicolas Szabo, Vice President

As former owner of Para-Ordnance, a firearms manufacturing leader worldwide, Nikolas has a thorough knowledge of this type of product. He is the primary shareholder of Alpha Casting, which specializes in the production of cast alloy parts for the aerospace, defence and transport industries.

Roberta Herder, Director of Operations

Roberta oversees contracts and tenders. She has the security clearance required by the Government of Canada to work directly with military and federal government personnel. She brings to Elite Canada invaluable experience and extensive product knowledge.

     “Prior to joining Élite Canada, I spent 26 years at R.Nicholls. The various positions I held with that distributor gave me the opportunity to learn just about everything there is to know about this industry.”

Jo-Ann Nazaire, Operations Assistant

Jo-Ann supports Roberta in the daily operations and advises the users of our products, in particular French-speaking customers. She has worked extensively with law enforcement specialized units and has acquired an extensive knowledge of our products.

Tom Reeves, Sales Associate

Owner of QPE (Quebec Police Equipment) for over 20 years, Tom recently joined Elite Canada, providing an enhanced offering to his long-time clients with access to the full product lines and services of Elite Canada.

Stéphane travels across the country to showcase our products. He has been an active member of a law enforcement specialized unit since 2004 and is a use-of-force instructor.

Diane Charlebois, Financial Controller

Diane Charlebois holds over 30 years of experience in accounting and administration.  She has worked as a financial controller for various organizations.

Alec Monbleau-Lefebvre, Graphic Designer, Web & Marketing

Alec leads Elite Canada’s marketing efforts. We owe our catalog, our product fact sheets and our marketing visuals to his creativity and artistic talent.

Dannick Gagnon, Retail Store & Warehouse Clerk

Dannick is in charge of shipping and receiving of all parcels and orders. He also helps greet and serve walk-in clients at our store. A recent Police Technology grad, he will soon undergo his practical training at École nationale de police du Québec.  

     “As I will soon be a police officer myself, I am happy to help out my future colleagues with their uniform and equipment needs.”
